OUR AIR OUR CITY
A collaborative effort to "clear the air" of pollution
This campaign is an XR-affiliated call for legal air quality all over the city of Bristol. With the conversation surrounding the Clean Air Zone (CAZ), we want to make sure no area experiencing the harmful health effects of air pollution goes unnoticed. Groups like African Voice Forum, Black and Green Ambassadors, Bristol Youth Strike 4 Climate, Medact and more are all working with XR Bristol to address the fight for healthy air. To get more involved, check out their website and send an email their way!
BRISTOL COUNCILORS AND MPS: SUPPORT THE CEE BILL!
Sign this petition demanding Bristol-wide support of the Climate and Ecological Emergency Bill
We are working to save ours and our childrens future from the 3 to 5 degrees of global warming we are set to experience in the next 80 years. With the CEE Bill being tabled again, we are not accepting continued delaying of a legislative fix we so desperately need.
SUPPORT THE CEE BILL
The Climate and Ecological Emergency (CEE) Bill has been put in front of Parliament TWICE now, and TWICE it has been delayed. The next revisiting of the bill will be on the 26th of May. You can demand support of the CEE Bill from your MP! The CEE Bill website has loads of information on how you can demand change, and flyers created by XR can be printed up and put on your window to spread the word!
FUND CLIMATE ACTION, NOT WAR
The UK government has increased the military spending bill by 16 billion pounds. With almost no attention or funding being used to mitigate climate change, our government is funding total destruction. Below is a petition tell Boris we do not agree with the way he is spending OUR money.
