GREENWASH CAMPAIGN

UK emissions would have been 42% higher in 2021 had all emissions involved in trade were included.  Facts depend on how they're framed, and when a company or country claims to be more eco friendly than they are through manipulative language, that is GREENWASH.  XR Bristol has started a campaign combatting greenwash in Bristol by condemning the Bristol Airport expansion and holding Bristol City Council accountable for their inaction behind the city's Clean Air Zone (CAZ) plan.

Come to the weekly Thursday meeting!  We meet everyThursday at the Malcolm X Centre from 6:30-9.  Here we come up with the next steps for the campaign and create the stunning displays you see at actions and around the city.

Bristol City Council meetings happen frequently, with room for members of the public to attend and voice their concerns about greenwash and climate change.  Most meetings are streamed live and put on YouTube, so leave your thoughts in the comments of the video!
